Basic Slideshow Video
The basic slide show video is for people who need something that looks good, but doesn’t have all the bells and whistles of the Ideal or Custom videos. This would be a good choice to show off your latest slide, negative or photo scanning order, especially if you have many images
*Prices do not include scanning of images to be used in the slideshow.
Each image will appear for seven seconds total and have a two second cross fades between each picture. This is a silent movie; if you would like background music, please check out the Ideal video. The Basic Slideshow is only available with images that DVD Your Memories has scanned.

Example: For a basic slideshow containing 100 images, the cost would be $50 + [$0.10 x 100] = $60
Ideal Slideshow Video
The Ideal slideshow video gives you a pan & zoom effect (like a documentary) with each picture (go to 1:45 in this video to see). You also get a closing sequence (up to three title slides). A proof will be emailed to you. This allows you to make one round of changes to your video at no extra cost.
Ideal Video Includes:
- Professional transitions (crossfades) between each picture
- Customize how long each pictures shows on screen
- Music that runs throughout the DVD
- Each picture has a “pan & zoom” effect (like a TV documentary)
- Customized case with still shots from your production along with a custom title
- Customized DVD with a still shot from your production and your title
- Emailed preview of your video so that you can change anything you like for free (one time only please)

If you are bringing in your own flash/hard drive with data on it to store these files, there is a $15 setup fee. There is no fee if your drive does not have data on it or if we’ve provided the drive for you.
Custom Slideshow Video
This level of service is for those who wish to have a one-on-one editing experience with one of our editors. You will have complete creative control over everything in your video. During this time you can customize everything that the Ideal video offers (music, titles, menus, etc.) plus you will have the ability to do voice-over work. Voice-overs can turn any custom movie project into a family treasure that will be enjoyed for generations.
Custom Slideshow Video Includes:
- All video editing services including custom fade types, unlimited images & video clips, pan & zoom, music, custom menus, voice-overs, etc
- You also have the opportunity to work with our in-house designer to create the perfect custom DVD case

Work one-on-one With Your Editor
Do you want to have a little more say-so in your custom slideshow movie? Be your own director with our one-on-one editing services! You will comfortably sit with our editor in our customized editing room and you can experience first-hand how the magic is done! Our editors are experienced working with customers to make their projects the best they can possibly be. We now have time-slots available for you to come in and work with one of our experienced editors one-on-one.
Voice-Overs
Create voice-overs for your slideshows. You can narrate every scene of your video. Imagine a custom video filled with the voices of the people in the slideshow! Voiceovers are wonderful for documenting family memories and events. This can add a very touching effect to your slideshow movies and is recommended for your serious video project.
Custom Menus and Artwork
Decorate your custom DVD and case with anything you want! We can print up to 300dpi directly onto the disc, as well as provide high quality DVD inserts, which will make your DVD case tie in beautifully to your custom DVD.
Video Conversion
If you need your slideshow video converted to a format other than DVD or MPEG-2, we can take care of that for you as well. After the transfer has completed we will convert your video to the exact file type and bitrate of your choice. We can convert your video files to .MOV .AVI or any other format you’d like to work with. Please our video technicians for a full range of formats available.

Custom Transitions
Determine exactly how your video looks by choosing from a variety of slide transitions. Sometimes using alternating transitions can help add more production value to your slideshow. We suggest choosing a careful balance of nice transitions, as too many random or wild transitions have a tendency to distract viewers from your slideshow.
Mix & Match Your Media
Don’t forget that you can mix and match any of the media you bring to us. This means we can combine your video tapes with film, slides, photos, negatives and even audio! Combine multiple sources of media to create the ultimate family memories archive.
